    My sincere condolences go out to Ed and the entire Winters family. I will remember Ferne for her pleasant personality and all the hugs I always got from her at Burger King. My prayers are with you during this very sad time.

    Our family will always remember Ferne as Kari's Grandmother. She and Ed attended the Nutcracker each year that Kari performed. Our family would enjoy seeing each other each year and thereafter. Blessings to all the family. She will be watching us all dance when we join her in heaven. Love, the Gierlings

    I sincerely wish I could be there to say goodbye to my good friend but I take comfort in the fact she's with God now and that all her children have come together to be there. I will be there in spirit and I will see my good friend again one day.
